• CGS Northern Hub
  I run the northern hub of the Contemporary Glass Society. We meet every couple of months to enjoy a great venue and discuss group exhibitions, technical problems, ideas and more. We have a growing number of people coming to our meetings and all enjoy meeting up with other people who love glass. We are full time and part time glass artists and suppliers. We all work with different forms of glass - fused glass, stained glass, glass casting, bead work and more. We always pick a great venue for our meetings so that we have a great day out. Meetings to date have taken place at the Walker Gallery in Liverpool, the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, the Hepworth gallery in Wakefield, Pearson's glass in Liverpool, the Lowry in Salford plus many more places that have been great to visit.   The Contemporary Glass Society supports and promotes contemporary glass in the UK. With a great website, regular exhibitions, a quarterly magazine and a fabulous conference every two years, it is a great organisation to belong to.
