Glass Applique is a mosaic technique to decorate a clear base piece of glass with a design using coloured glass. The finished design is grouted with a dark grout to bring out the detail of the design resulting in a stunning finished piece of work. The result is not disimilar in appearance to leaded stained glass, but offers the opportunity for more detail with less technique and tools. |
